GRF’s free Harvest Festival is Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Community Gardens, 13101 Nassau Drive.

The festival will feature live music by the Wimberley Bluegrass Band, along with a garden-wide scavenger hunt and lawn games for all ages. Residents can take part in a hands-on garden demonstration led by master gardener Susanna Kiely and plant a seedling to bring home.

The Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club will open the festivities with a spooky golf cart parade beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at the gardens at 10 (see parade map on page 18).

Residents are encouraged to bring non-expired canned and dry food donations to support the OC Food Bank. Each donation earns a raffle ticket for prizes, including a brand-new 55” 4K television.

Scooter’s Food Truck will offer fairstyle favorites for purchase. Parking at the gardens is limited and traffic in the area may be impacted (see page 3). Residents are encouraged to use the convenient shuttle service running from the Amphitheater parking lot. On-call bus service is available by calling 562-472-1367.

The Harvest Festival is sponsored by SCAN, On-Site Sales, J& J Landscape, Serenity Home Care and Primary Care Associates of California.
