Community Church
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m., LW Community Church continues its study in “A Course in Miracles” facilitated by Abby Stevens. This study is a free weekly discussion of the book of the same name written by Dr. Kenneth Wapnick. People can find more information on “A Course in Miracles” at www.acim.org.
Residents are invited to Community Church’s Coffee with the Pastor on Thursdays. The next Coffee with the Pastor will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. This is a great low-key opportunity to meet Pastor Johan Dodge and some of the members of the church before attending a service. No previous church experience required.
This week, the church will continue to look at the teachings of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. Community Church meets for worship every Sunday at 9:50 a.m. at 14000 Church Place, by St. Andrews Gate.
Nov. 2 will be All Saints Sunday, where the church will make time to remember those who have passed in the last year as well as those who have moved away from the community.
