First Christian Church

First Christian Church of Leisure World teaches from God’s word the Holy Bible, verse by verse. It is a friendly church that welcomes all visitors to join in worship and explore God’s word together, “that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine,” Romans 1:12.

Sunday services are from 9:30-10:45 a.m. and feature traditional hymnal music led by Janet Ray with Ruth Bonnema at the piano with a special guest each week.

Saturday services include contemporary songs, led by Gregory Black with guitar and vocal accompaniment. Saturday service time is 9:30-10:45 a.m.

Melli Herrera leads the Monday Bible study from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Pastor Bruce Humes leads the Thursday Bible study from 10:3011:30 a.m. and the Friday prayer and Bible study from 4-5 p.m.

All Leisure World residents are welcome to attend the above services and Bible studies.
