A nationwide “No Kings” peaceful protest is planned for Saturday, Oct. 18, by Indivisible. The last “No Kings” day broke records at 2,169 protests and 27 countries participating.

Let’s break that record on Oct. 18. Show up, stay involved. Get ready for an even bigger “No Kings” day.

California Democratic Party (CADEM) is urging a yes vote on Prop 50.

The election is Nov. 4; this measure is designed to level the playing field after the redistricting in Texas. Canvassing teams have already begun to spread the word with many positive encounters.

Democratic Club membership meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 1:30 p.m. Members can come early and bring a lunch. Light snacks will be served.

Due to the holidays, there are some changes to club membership meetings.

The regularly scheduled meeting for Nov. 26 has been moved to Dec. 3. The actual December membership meeting is canceled.

This month, the Democratic Club Hospitality Booth will be open every Tuesday and the third and fourth Thursdays from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

People are encouraged to stop by and visit with likeminded individuals, register to vote, change address, or change party affiliation.
