Congregation Sholom

On Saturday, Oct. 11, Congregation Sholom will host Pizza in the Hut in the Sukkot outside of Clubhouse 3 in Veterans Plaza. Pizza in the Hut is sponsored by Sukkot Across America and the Shabbat service before will be led by Rabbi Mike Mymon and in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and Zoom at 10 a.m.. Pizza in the Hut will begin at noon. Sukkah is a temporary outdoor shelter built for the holiday of Sukkot, which commemorates both the 40-year desert journey of the Israelites and the autumn harvest festival. Wednesday, Oct. 15, is Simchat Torah and Shemini Atzerat in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, and on Zoom at 10 a.m. The Yizkor service begins at 11:30 a.m. To join Congregation Sholom, call 714-396-0121.
