Sunshine Club: Terracotta Warriors Exhibit

Members of the Sunshine Club gathered for a visit to the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana on Sept. 23.

Sunshine Club members enjoyed a rare museum showcase titled “World of the Terracotta Warriors.” This is the third time the terracotta warriors have been on display at the Bowers Museum, bringing together 110 newly discovered archaeological treasures from Shaanxi, including terracotta warriors, bronze vessels, chariot regalia, and other jade and gold artifacts.

Sunshine Club members were also treated to beautiful exhibits of over 250 intricate works in “Miao: Masters of Silver,” “Sacred Realms Buddhist Paintings,” “Art of the Pacific Islands,” “California Legacies: Missions and Ranchos” and much more.

The club enjoyed a beautiful day of fellowship, lunch and education. A grand time was had by all.
