Marilynn Sones of Mutual 15 (seated) celebrated her 101st birthday Sept. 25 with her eldest son Drew Sones and his wife, Susan. The 48-year resident celebrated this special birthday with many cards from her family, including her chil - dren, grandchildren and a great grand child. Flowers were everywhere, and she enjoyed chocolate cake before lunch. Sones was able to Facetime with her great grand daughter who just turned 2. She enjoys her Leisure World home and the wonderful beach weather.
