Harvest Festival at Community Gardens is Oct. 25
GRF SPECIAL EVENTS
Residents are invited to a Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Leisure World Community Gardens, located at 13101 Nassau Drive. This free event will offer live entertainment and outdoor activities.
Enjoy live music from the Wimberley Bluegrass Band, a garden-wide scavenger hunt open to all ages, lawn games such as cornhole and Connect Four and more.
The Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club will kick off the festivities with a spooky golf cart parade starting at 9:45 a.m. and ending at the gardens at 10.
A live gardening workshop will provide hands-on tips for fall planting.
Residents are encouraged to bring non-expired canned and dry food items to support the OC Food Bank. Each donation earns a raffle ticket for prizes, including a brand-new 55” 4K television.
Scooter’s Food Truck will have fair-style favorites available for purchase.
Because parking at the gardens is limited, residents are encouraged to use a convenient shuttle service running from the Amphitheater parking lot.
The Harvest Festival is proudly sponsored by SCAN, On-Site Sales, J& J Landscape, Serenity Home Care and Primary Care Associates of California.
