Scrabble Club meets Wednesdays beginning at 1 p.m. in CH 3

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5.

The club met on each of the first three Wednesdays in September. There were 32 scores above 300 and 16 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Diane Seeger led with eight totals higher than 300 and three bingos. Her scores ranged from 337 to 419. Larry Edgar topped 300 five times with a range of 302 to 417. He had five bingos. Suthy Edgar had five scores above 300, ranging from 341 to 373. She had six bingos. Jim Schneiderman and Sue Ann Gass each bettered 300 four times. The range of Schneiderman’s scores was 308 to 383. Gass’ totals ranged from 318 to 345.

Donna Perkins scored 300 or higher twice. She had one bingo and a high score of 313. Myrna Loscuadro had totals of 308 and 309. Sylvia Makus recorded a 307.
