LW Pool League

On Sept. 15, the LW Pool League matches continued to be very close. BG & E Electric beat Burn’s Busters 8-5. Elizabeth Butterfield had a big night winning all of her doubles matches and her nine ball singles. What made the match unusual was Burn’s Busters won five of the six singles matches, but lost all its doubles games.

Hot Sticks squeaked out a win over RDS 7-5. Kurt Bourhenne and Roy Mittlesteadt both won four games for Hot Steaks.

The Renegades edged the Snow Bros 7-6. Paul Ivanoff continued his strong play for the Renegades winning five games. Ivanoff has won all four of his singles matches this season.

In the Wednesday league, there were two close matches and one blowout. After losing 9-4 the first week, Raising Cane came back to beat Pocket Predators 11-2. Raising Cane won all six of its singles matches. Ron Kennedy of Raising Cane won six games, losing only the final eight ball match. Paul Shellenberger and Millie Larsen won five games for Raising Cane.

The Favorites edged On the Eight 7-6. The Favorites were down 5-2 but came back with Dave Silva winning five games.

RU Chalking 2 Me beat the Three Lads 7-6 to hold a one game lead in the Wednesday league. Steve Edrich and Brian Tivnan each won four games for RU Chalking 2 Me.
