LW Baptist Church

LW Baptist Church will meet Sunday, Sept. 28, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4 for the fellowship of joint praise, prayer, listening to God’s Word and giving to God’s work.

Once, LW Baptist’s pastor Rolland Coburn was asked how much it cost to become a member of the church. His answer: there is no membership fee.

The person then asked if free will offerings were enough to meet budget, to which the answer was yes. He wanted to know the reason why. Jesus gave the explanation this way: “Freely you have received; freely give.” Jesus also taught the joy of giving, reminding believers, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
