FaceTime keeps sisters together and spirits high

Sisters Regina Costello of Mutual 2 and Kathy Moran of Mutual 11 recently were patients at UCI Los Alamitos at the same time but on different floors. They were able to stay connected thanks to FaceTime, a call that Moran’s daughter arranged.

The sisters were happy to see each other on their phones and their faces lit up while they had a pleasant conversation in this high-tech universe.

Costello and Moran were pleased at the care they received at UCI Los Alamitos and want to thank all the staff who were so kind and supportive.

Moran sometimes lovingly refers to the sisters as “Oxy Sisters” since both are now on oxygen as they continue to improve. Now Moran is able to go over to Costello’s for in-person conversations.

The sisters are happy and thankful residents to continue enjoying the amenities of Leisure World with their friends and neighbors.
