Letter to the Editor
Editor:
The Seniors for Peace Club and the Democratic Club thank the GRF for its very critical decision to require federal law enforcement to have a legal warrant signed by a judge to enter Leisure World and to provide training to employees of this requirement.
The significance of this decision is remarkable, that residents and employees no longer have to fear being descended upon by masked, armed, uniformed men without IDs, without warrants, to make arrests in our peaceful village. Thank you for your wise decision.
We also thank our members who appeared at the Aug. 25 GRF meeting to make statement in support of this decision.
Pat Kruger, Jacquie Clarke, Seniors for Peace Club Bill Bruce, Democratic Club
