Community Karaoke

The Community Karaoke Club enjoyed a lively crowd at its Sept. 3 karaoke party. Bob Barnum always has a new song he wants to share. “Wonderful Life” had a catchy beat that got folks tapping their feet. Danna Sanders had people swaying with “Harper Valley PTA”. Two veterans, Wayne Urban and Pat Paternoster, had fun singing “Fightin’ Side of Me.” Fannie Noble received praise for her lovely “The Sweetest Thing.” James Farr surprised the audience with a Red Hot Chili Peppers hit. Karen Morris showed a lot of personality in “Mustang Sally.”

All are invited to beat the heat and join the club’s karaoke parties in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 each Wednesday evening. The club has a hefty songbook or people can just enjoy the performances. Practice sessions are held Mondays from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6.
