Orange County Fire authority responded to a false alarm.

•Aug. 3, 8:20 and 8:55 p.m., Mutual 17

Orange County Fire authority responded to two false alarms.

• Aug. 5, 11:40 p.m., Mutual 17

Orange County Fire authority responded to a false alarm.

• Aug. 28, 6:35 a.m., Mutual 14

A resident left a pot on stove, which started to burn. The pot only smoked; there was no fire or damage to the unit.

COYOTE SIGHTINGS: 30

There were 30 coyote sightings reported over the month of August.

MISDEMEANOR THEFT (less than $950 in value): 6

•Aug. 1, 9:30 a.m., Mutual 8

An unknown person removed a lock and took a bicycle parked in the carport area.

•Aug. 16, 2:47 p.m., Mutual 4

An unknown person removed a bicycle from the carport area.

• Aug. 18, 10:32 a.m., Mutual 8

An unknown person removed a resident’s bicycle from

their carport area.

•Aug. 20, 4:27 p.m., Mutual 4

A resident stated a brick near her unit was taken seven days earlier.

•Aug. 21, 5:42 p.m., Mutual 1

An unknown person removed a resident’s cane near his front door.

•Aug. 22, 5:12 p.m., Mutual 9

A resident stated unknown person removed Tic-Tacs and Altoids breath mints, along with a sweatshirt from their vehicle.

FELONY THEFT (more than $950 in value): 2

•Aug. 15, 2 p.m., Mutual 6

Unauthorized persons posing as vendors entered the resident’s unit and removed some jewelry.

• Aug. 18, 11:30 a.m., Mutual 15

A resident returned home from vacation and found money missing.

VANDALISM: 4

An unknown person dropped white paint on the hood of a resident’s vehicle.

•Aug. 11, 9:48 a.m., Mutual 2

A resident found a scratch on her vehicle.

An unknown person pushed over planter boxes.

•Aug. 25, 9 p.m., Clubhouse 3

An unknown person damaged dumpsters.

A resident was advised of the policy for unleashed dogs and not picking up dog waste.

A dog was found and returned to the resident’s unit.

A vehicle reversing out of a carport struck a parked vehicle.

•Aug. 7, 6:57 p.m., 1461 Pelham Road

An e-bike sideswiped a parked vehicle and fled the scene.

•Aug. 19, 3:26 p.m., 13533 Seal Beach Blvd. Two vehicles collided when making turns.

• Aug. 21, 2:10 p.m., Amphitheater

A vehicle exiting the Amphitheater parking lot was struck by oncoming vehicle.

A moving vehicle struck a parked vehicle.

A resident complained of loud voices in the neighboring unit. Security advised the neighbor, who reduced the volume of their voices.

A resident complained of a loud party. No noise detected.

•Aug. 7, 10:04 p.m., Mutual 15

A resident complained of noise coming from a neighboring unit. Security advised the neighbor, who reduced the noise level.

• Aug. 8, 9:15 p.m., Mutual 9

Ongoing issues with noisy neighbor. No noise detected.

•Aug. 10, 1:48 a.m., Mutual 1

A resident complained of noise from neighboring unit. The unit is vacant; no noise detected.

A resident complained of noise made by grandchildren in the neighboring unit.

A resident complained of loud music in neighboring unit. No noise detected at the scene.

A resident was driving a scooter at fast speeds on sidewalk. Security advised resident to reduce speed.

A resident stated she observed a naked resident on the sidewalk.

Ongoing dispute regarding a number of issues.

A resident reported sidewalk damage to Security.

A resident stated neighbor was removing her property from her patio.

A person attempted to enter a unit to “fix a leak.” The vendor was unauthorized and sent away.

Two unauthorized vendors checked for leaks and then demanded money.

A resident reported an unknown person yelled and knocked on his door, then walked away.

An e-bike rider was struck by the barrier arm.
