GRF saves $10K by bringing holiday light installation in house

At its Aug. 26 meeting, the GRF Board of Directors, upon the recommendation of the Member Services Committee, approved the purchase of holiday decorations and lighting at a cost not to exceed $24,935, from the operating fund.

In 2024, GRF paid $30,995 for these services. Moving forward, GRF Service Maintenance and Recreation will work together to deploy holiday lighting and decorations with greater efficiency and reliability for savings of about $10,000 in the 2025 GRF operating budget and a $35,000 savings thereafter.
