Community Karaoke

The Community Karaoke’s popular karaoke parties are held each Wednesday in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Practice karaoke sessions are held Mondays upstairs in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. and allow people to try a new song or fine-tune another.

On Aug. 27, a fully packed room enjoyed a variety of music provided by 35 LW residents. Donna Bocoskey entertained with a popular hit tune. “Drinkin’ Problem,” with its fun lyrics, was a strong number for Sandy Hyman. Theater Club members showed off a song from their recent show. Anna Lam delivered a joyful “Let’s Dance.” Susan Kelleghan had everyone’s attention while singing “The Way We Were.”

The club appreciates Gary Fitch from the Recreation Department for identifying and fixing recent sound equipment issues.
