Donate to Seal Beach Animal Shelter on Sept. 4 and win
Volunteers from the Seal Beach Animal Care Center (SBACC) will be at the Amphitheater Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute on Thursday, Sept. 4, to collect both cash and materials for the shelter. All those who contribute will be eligible to win a $25 gift card to Target, Home Goods, or California Pizza Kitchen.
SBACC volunteers will be at the entrances from 6-8 p.m. accepting cash donations for veterinary and medical expenses as well as any items from the following wish list: Dogs: Science Diet dry dog food (small bites and adult); Science Diet canned dog food (chicken flavor); Squeaky and strong chewer dog toys; Pill Pockets; nylon dog leads (5- and 6-feet long); Kuranda shelter beds.
Cats: Friskies canned cat food (pate and shreds in gravy) and Fancy Feast canned kitten food; Purina One Sensitive Systems dry cat food; Purina One Kitten dry food; Feline Pine pellets; any clay unscented non-clumping litter; Advantage topical flea treatment.
General: Gift cards from Amazon, PetSmart, Petco and/or Chewy; postage stamps; Ziploc food storage bags (quart and gallon size); disposable drinking cups (8 oz. size); trash bags (45-, 39-, 33-, and 13-gallon size); paper towels; bathroom tissue; 6% chlorine bleach; hand sanitizer; photo paper for ink jet printers; toner cartridges (TN 880); white copy paper; and aluminum cans/ plastic bottles/glass bottles (all empty and bagged separately) for recycling.
