Assembly of God
When a fire breaks out and people’s safety is threatened, no one hesitates to yell, “fire!” Ezekiel 33:6-7 conveys to disciples, ancient and modern day, the responsibility to inform and warn unbelievers of eventual judgment and eternal separation from God. Reminding people of their sin is difficult and exposes the messenger to criticism, ridicule, possible broken relationships, and other unwanted pain. But how much risk is a disciple willing to endure to be faithful to the mandate God has given, and ensure people have heard the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ? Pastor Chuck Franco will deliver the message titled “Sound the Alarm” on Sunday, Aug. 31.
The Wednesday Bible study will not meet on Sept. 3 so class members can attend the Second Half Ministries conference in the San Bernardino Mountains.
