Summer lovin’ is theme of Saturday show
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL CLUB
The Let The Good Times Roll Club will hold an evening of entertainment and dancing on Saturday, Aug. 16, Clubhouse 2 at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The theme for the evening’s show is expressed in the songs the club’s members have chosen. The show will feature charttopping hits that explore the idea and experience of love. Songs include those sung by Dean Martin, Patsy Cline, John Lennon, Kenny Chesney, the Rolling Stones, Elvis, Doris Day, the Platters, Andy Williams, Herman’s Hermits and others.
After the performances, people can enjoy two hours of dancing to the Legends of Rock. Residents and their guests are welcome. People can bring the snacks and beverages of their choice.
The club provides coffee, lemonade, ice, cookies and cups.
No admission charged, but donations to the club and to the band support the club’s mission to provide evenings of live entertainment, dancing and socializing.
