The LW Democratic Club is excited to announce that Congressman Dave Min, the Democratic congressman for the 47th District, will be the guest speaker for the club’s membership meeting on Aug. 27 at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
Min will also hold a town hall at the Assistance League in Huntington Beach that evening. Reservations are required for the town hall. Those interested in attending should email admin@orangecoasthuddle.com.
The second Wednesday of the month is now when the club holds its Voter Education meeting in Clubhouse 3, Room 3, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. While reservations are not necessary, it’s a good idea to get there early. For more information about the August session, email Beverleybender@gmail.com.
The first Wednesday of each month is when the club’s “Lunch Bunch,” an enthusiastic gathering of old and new friends, meet to enjoy a meal together at Hof’s Hut, at 11:30 a.m. For more information, email Debbie Wrathall at Debbiewrathall@mac.com.
The Democratic Club’s hospitality booth is open on the first Tuesday and the third Thursday each month from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. People are encouraged to stop by and visit with like-minded individuals, register to vote, change address, or change party affiliation.
