Cookbooks new and old on sale now for 25 cents each
FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
The Friends of the Library Bookstore and Boutique has a wide and culturally varied collection of cookbooks and they will be on sale for 25 cents each for a limited time. Gold standards will be available and also new books to accommodate new appliances such as air fryers. Many include recipes of a cultural cuisine that may be new to some. They will be on display in a separate cart in the patio.
The Friends of the Library card coordinator and assistant treasurer Anne Wilkerson has announced that the greeting cards special pricing is now the permanent price: three for 25 cents. The Friends of the Library thank residents for their generous donations, which make this reduction in price possible.
If a church or club has need of cards for hospitality purposes, they can inquire at the bookstore for special arrangements. Supplies of beautiful blank-inside and “Thinking of You” cards are available in quantities at very low prices, and some are also free.
