LW will host open auditions for Amphitheater emcee on Aug. 22

The GRF Recreation Department will hold open auditions to select a master of ceremonies (emcee) for the final Amphitheater performance of the 2025 season on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The emcee will be responsible for welcoming guests, introducing the featured entertainment and keeping the evening flowing with energy and professionalism. This is a unique opportunity for a resident or community member who enjoys public speaking and engaging with a live audience.

The selected emcee will serve as the official host for the concert, representing Leisure World in front of a large crowd gathered for one of the most anticipated shows of the season.

Auditions will take place on Friday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 2. Participants will be given a short script to read during the audition.
