Faith Christian Assembly

Like a parent toward their child, God’s love toward people is the deepest kind of love that helps believers grow as it also chastens, reproves and corrects.

Believers should echo Jeremiah’s prayer in Jeremiah 10:24, “Discipline me, Lord, but only in due measure—not in your anger, or you will reduce me to nothing.”

Kind David prayed a similar prayer in Psalm 139:25, “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way of everlasting.”

God won’t leave believers stuck in the same cycles. Believers should look to his word and to pray for his loving help.

As the old hymn exclaims, “O love of God, how rich and pure/How measureless and strong/ It shall forevermore endure the saints’ and angels’ song” Sunday service time at Faith Christian Assembly is 10:30 a.m., and midweek Bible Study is held Wednesday at 11 a.m.
