A slight mist that hung over the Leisure World golf course didn’t prevent 37 women of the LW Women’s Golf Club from participating in the weekly tournament on July 22. Play for the day was low gross, low net and chip ins. The highlight for the day was a hole-in-one by Kay Hong on No. 8.

A flight winners: Sophia Kim, 25, low gross; Hae Lee, 22, low net. B flight winners: Marilyn Hewitt, 29, low gross; Nancy Smith and Grace Choi, 24, low net; Sang An, No. 9, chip ins.

C flight winners: Janell Hebert, 30, low gross; Sally Park, 25, low net; Sun Lee, No. 5, chip ins.

D flight winners: Vivian Ceballos and Lynn Baidack, 34, low gross; Judy Ornoff, 23, low net; Lynn Baidack, No. 6; Judy Ornoff, No. 1, chip ins.
