Sunshine Club
Professional organizer Alice West will give a presentation to the Sunshine Club titled “Converting Clutter to Cash: Why Less Really is More” on Friday, July 25, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m.
Residents are encouraged to come to this interactive presentation by West, who is the owner of Transform Your Space. Attendees will gain an understanding of the financial and psychological costs of clutter.
West will discuss the top five ways to convert clutter to cash, including donating and recycling.
During the meeting, there will be a live demonstration of selling an item on one of the many available sites. West will also provide several real-world examples of clients who have made a bundle by letting go. Attendees will leave with actionable tips to simplify their spaces, streamline routines, and ultimately make some money.
All residents are welcome to join the meeting. The Sunshine Club requires no membership fees, but donations are welcome. Refreshments will be served at the meeting.
People are asked to arrive promptly. Those who are late to the meeting should quietly use the backdoor so as not to disturb the presentation.
On Friday, Aug. 1, Monica Leff from the Long Beach Memorial Care Center will present on the topic of menopause.
