The moon is a faithful witness in the night sky to the glory of God. But when daylight comes, the greater light of the sun outshines the moon, likewise pointing to the wisdom of the creator and savior. In a similar way, the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible point to the Lord Jesus.

The Old Testament promises pointed to fulfillment in the New Testament with the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul says that the gospel motivates Christians to share with others the good news of salvation. He also says that the light of the gospel clarifies and helps believers understand the total message of God’s word. It is good news for everyone.
