Friends of the Library Bookstore

In addition to its “Christmas in July” sale that started July 14, the Friends of the Library Bookstore will also feature another special sale named “School’s out for Summer,” underway now.

The sale includes books that will enable patrons to learn something new in their leisure time. Items will be sold at half-price and will feature books focused on DIY, learning a foreign language or how to play an instrument, arts and crafts and more. There will be many “Great Courses” on CDs, which are great for summer learning.

The “Christmas in July” sale, which ends Saturday, July 19, includes all things necessary for a festive home. Many of the items in the store will also make great gifts. Holiday cards are priced at three for 25 cents, 10 for 75 cents and 15 for $1. Some boxed sets are also available with special pricing. Customers can find them in the round card holder or on the back-wall shelves of the bookstore.

"The Great Courses" CDs are available for purchase. The courses cover astronomy, science, philosophy and more.
