Sunshine Club

Dr. Kevin Shah, M.D. FACC, FAHSA, will speak to the Sunshine Club on Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. He will give a presentation titled “Beating the Odds: What You Need to Know About Heart Failure.” All residents are welcome to join.

Heart failure is a serious condition impacting millions worldwide, but people can take control with knowledge of its risk factors. Dr. Shah will explore the latest treatment advancements and prevention strategies to empower and help people beat the odds. Dr. Shah is a fellowship trained, board-certified cardiologist who specializes in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the MemorialCare Heart nd Vascular Institute at Long Beach Medical Center.
