Meals on Wheels Long Beach

Meals on Wheels of Long Beach, Inc., delivers freshly cooked meals for $11.50 per day Monday-Friday, between 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Deliveries include an 8-ounce carton of 1% milk. Thursday, July 3

Barbecue chicken, corn, baked beans, fresh melon, roast beef and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato and pickle, and creamy coleslaw with chipotle.

Friday, July 4

No service. Closed in observance of July 4.

Monday, July 7

Sweet and sour pork, egg noodles, mixed vegetables, plum, tuna salad sandwich, and marinated tomato and onion salad.

Tuesday, July 8

Chicken curry, brown rice, Asian vegetables, broccoli, cantaloupe, Chinese chicken salad with Asian dressing and crackers.

Wednesday, July 9

Beef stew with potatoes, celery and onions, dinner roll, fruited vanilla yogurt, garden salad with chicken, garbanzo beans, red onion, celery, tomatoes, Italian dressing and crackers.
