COMMUNITY KARAOKE

Wednesday night karaoke held in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 is bustling. On June 18, Carmen Edwards celebrated her birthday surrounded by her many singing friends. Leslie has such a pleasing voice that folks like to duet with her. She and Dorothy Ferrington sang an oldie, “Tumbling Tumbleweed.”

A first-time karaoke singer, Sam Cross, delivered a good country tune ,“All of Me.” Paul Renaldi kept the two-step beat of a Beatles number. Erika Greenwood chose a German lyrics song for her friend. “Yakety Yak” was fun for Maryanne Bartel.

Ice cream bars kept the audience cool as people focused on 35 performers during the evening.

The audience perks up when the singers are feeling their lyrics and moving with the music. Everyone has a good time, and all are welcome to join.
