Assembly of God

Pastor Chuck Franco will continue his series “Living a REAL Christian Life” with a sermon titled, “Evangelical Passion” from Acts 8:26-35. Good news is hard to keep a secret. Those who claim Christ as their savior and Lord should exhibit a passionate desire to share the liberation and redemption they have obtained through Jesus. A true disciple tells others about their faith and relationship with God.

The Wednesday Bible study will resume on July 2, continuing with the study in Psalms, “Lyrics for Life,” by Lisa Harper. The lesson is titled “The Rebar of Redemption.” A strong concrete block structure needs the strengthening power of rebar to keep it intact over the stresses of time or catastrophe. While stresses or damaging influences can chip away at faith, the rebar of redemption holds the Christian’s internal foundation strongly together. Pastor Franco moderates the thought-provoking class discussion.
