Young Nak Church of Orange County

On Sunday, June 8, Young Nak Church of Orange County held a dedication service for its newly launched Seal Beach campus in Leisure World. The worship service, attended by approximately 220 people, marked a significant new beginning for the church’s ministry in Leisure World.

Senior Pastor Kyung Sup Kim delivered a sermon based on Matthew 5:13-16, titled “A Church That Transforms the World.” In his message, Pastor Kim reflected on his 16 years of pastoral ministry and shared how God had placed a special burden on his heart for the senior generation. He emphasized that the launch of the Seal Beach campus is not me;rely an expansion of the church’s facilities, but a response to God’s call to shepherd and care for seniors in their final season of life.

Pastor Kim shared his vision for the church, “Through the ministry at Seal Beach, we want to help seniors become true worshipers, to continue fulfilling the mission of saving souls, and to live with the hope of heaven until the day they stand before the Lord.”

Following the service, attendees enjoyed fellowship over lunch prepared by the church, along with welcome gifts distributed to all participants.

Worship services are held every Sunday at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 3. The church looks forward to building a vibrant community of faith, worship, and mission among the senior residents.

The launch of this campus marks a new chapter in Young Nak Church’s ongoing mission—to be a church that not only grows in faith but brings transformation to the world around it.
