Learn more about assisted living at Life Options Expo

All are invited to the eighth annual LWSB Life Options Expo on Friday, June 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Clubhouse 4 and Veterans Plaza. This popular annual event brings together nonprofits, service providers and local vendors to showcase a wide range of resources that can help enhance residents’ quality of life.

Learning about nearby assisted living facilities and what they offer can help ease the transition between independent living and assisted living. People who have never navigated that transition before may benefit from the help of a no-cost placement agent. These agents can find facilities that meet someone’s exact criteria. They will organize tours, break down costs and help people navigate the move-in process. Placement agencies Local Living Solutions, Senior Living Placements and Alliance Eldercare will be on site to answer questions about the process.

Event sponsor Westmont will be present at the expo to provide information about its assisted living, independent living and memory care options. Other providers will also be in attendance, such as Bay Towers at Bixby, Katella Senior Living, Oakmont of Orange, Oakmont of Huntington Beach and Rowntree Gardens Senior Living Community.
