LW Women’s Golf Club

The first annual Ladies & Gents Putting Contest, sponsored by Gasper Monteer Realty, will be held Tuesday, July 29, at 7:30 a.m. Players must be a member of either the women’s or men’s golf clubs. Cost is $10 per golfer. For more information, call 714-469-8160.

June 3 brought 34 women of the LW Women’s Golf Club to the Leisure World golf course. Play for the day was low gross, low net and circle hole on No. 6. Three women landed their ball in the circle: Cecilia Feltman, Nancy Tye and Kay Hong.

The highlight of the day was a hole-in-one by Sophia Kim on No. 7.

A flight winners: Angela Yoo, 26, low gross; Pam Krug, 24, low net.

B flight winners: Margie Thompson, 30, low gross; Patty Littrell, 25, low net.

C flight winners: Janell Hiebert, 31, low gross; Sue Elliott, 25, low net.

D flight winners: Neva Senske, 36, low gross; Judi Ornoff and Dale Quinn, 27, low net.
