Faith Christian Assembly
Fathers bring countless blessings into the lives of their families and their communities.
There is a command for children found in Deuteronomy 32:7: “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders and they will tell you.”
The psalmist praises God for his family in Psalm 61:5, “You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.”
Unfortunately, there are many people today for whom these verses are a living reality. However, Faith Christian Assembly encourages believers who don’t relate to those verses to remember that they serve a mighty God who has given the transformational Gospel of Jesus Christ. In him, believers have hope. People can trust in the power of Jesus Christ. Beli- evers can trust the love of Jesus Christ. Believers can pray for their families and seek his plan for their lives, as the theologion Charles Spurgeon said: “We must never cease to pray for our children until they cease to breathe. No case is hopeless while Jesus lives.”
Join Faith Christian Assembly for Father’s Day service on Sunday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. The congregation will hear a special Father’s Day message from Pastor Gwyn Vaughn, himself a father to two pastors including Pastor Sheri Leming. All men in attendance will receive a gift of appreciation from the church.
Faith Christian Assembly encourages fathers of all ages to keep speaking into the lives of their family. A father’s words will prove powerful against negative influences.
Join Faith Christian Assembly at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd. each Sunday. The Bible study is held every Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Grief Share group meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Garden Room.
