LW Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. New members are welcome.

The club met on the last three Wednesdays in May. There were 24 scores above 300 and 13 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in move).

Diane Seeger led with seven totals over 300. She had one bingo and a high score of 387. Jim Schneiderman bettered 300 six times and posted three bingos. His best game was a score of 354.

Suthy Edgar topped 300 four times, with a best score of 443 and eight bingos. Larry Edgar also had four totals above 300. He had one bingo and a top score of 378.

Marilyn Moody exceeded 300 twice. The better one of her scores was a 312. Donna Perkins posted a 312.
