Get your hands dirty at creative clay club

People who are looking for a place to unwind, meet creative members and make something beautiful (or just messy) are welcome to check out the Claytime Ceramics Club. It is the perfect spot for beginners and seasoned potters alike.

The club offers an array of tools and glazes, clay for $1 per pound, three electric, pedal-operated pottery wheels, a slab roller and extruder, three kilns for low- and mid-fire clay, plus lustre-fire, and community projects, exhibitions and more.

Come spin the wheel, hand-build to create a masterpiece or just have fun playing with clay. No experience needed—just bring curiosity.

The club meets on Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. Membership is $30 per year. For more information, call Karen Oja at 714-296-7545.
