Joyful Line Dance party is July 10

The Joyful Line Dance meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.noon in Clubhouse 2. The first half hour is for beginners and includes an easy-to-follow routine. The second hour and a half is for intermediate and advanced dancers, including the new dances learned over the past few months.

The club will have a summer dance party on Thursday, July 10, from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 2 with a group photo-op. A bento box lunch (Dosirak), watermelon and tea will be served at noon. The goal of this event is to foster camaraderie and encourage a sense of unity among the members. People are welcome to stay and dance some more after lunch, under the guidance of Karen Kei.

The cost to attend is $20. Last day to sign up is June 27. All members are encouraged to sign up with the club treasurer Chong Hee Kim at the front desk. Guests are welcome.

People must be registered members to take a class or attend a party, and check in before entering. Annual membership is $20. For more information, contact Anna Derby at 562-301-5339.

Members who sign up for July 10 party will enjoy a bento (Dosirak) boxed lunch.
