Learn about Medicare’s preventative services on Wednesday, May 28

Faith Christian Assembly will host Beatriz Nunez from the Council’s Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) on Wednesday, May 28, at 11 a.m. Nunez will talk about the variety of preventative services Medicare offers to keep people health that are mostly available at no cost.

People can take advantage of these services by finding problems early—when treatment works best—and possibly even prevent certain diseases. Nunez will be available for questions at the end of her talk. HICAP is a program of Council on Aging Southern California and provides free, unbiased services and does not endorse or sell insurance products.

Faith Christian Assembly meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd. The Bible is held every Wednesday at 11 a.m.
