COMMUNITY KARAOKE CLUB

People who attend the Community Karaoke Club’s events surprise themselves with how much fun they have singing and being applauded by their friends. On May 14, 40 singers were cheered for their performances. Peppy tunes sung by the Piippo’s duet, Vito Villamor, Bob Barnum and Frank Miller got a lot dancers on their feet.

Mellow tunes beautifully sung by Elizabeth Butterfield, David Noble, Chuck Oehl, Julie Nulad, Richard Yokomi and others were appreciated. A first-time singer, Bert Steinberg, had fun singing “Let It Be Me.” A tradition has begun for some group singing before the night ends. This happy troup have a great time belting out a song or two.

Karaoke practice sessions are held Mondays in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. High-energy karaoke nights are held Wednesdays in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Singers join together in song.
