The LW Humanists will meet on Sunday, June 1, in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 10:30 a.m.

The meeting will be about near-death and out-of-body experiences. The club will watch a short YouTube video on the subject and then club President Dave Silva will talk about his near-death experience and lead a discussion on the topic. Near-death and out-of-body experiences are more common than most people think. However, the interpretations of these events can be very different. Two books that are relevant on this subject but reach different conclusions are “Life After Life,” by Dr. Raymond Moody and “Out of the Body,” by Susan Blackmore, who is an authority on consciousness and has a Ph.D. in parapsychology.

People who have had a near-death or out-of-body experience are welcome to share at the meeting.
