Shuffl eboard Club offi cers elected for the year

New officers for the Shuffleboard Club were unanimously elected May 8 and will serve in their various capacities as well as constituting the board of directors for the coming year.

The new board consists of Karen Mendon, president; Lynne Haines, first vice president; Ellie West, first vice president Sunshine; Rod Osgood, second vice president Facilities; Susan Hopewell, second vice president GRF Liason; Donna Perkins, secretary; Sally Fowler, treasurer; Patti Peterson, membership; Micki Aiello, past president.

May 1 Thursday afternoon league results: Team Lynne beat Team Kay 7-5. All-game winners for Team Lynne were Judy Hulin and John Mount. There were no all-game winners for Team Kay. Team Jack defeated Team Anita 8-4. Allgame winners for Team Jack were Lynne Baidack and Steve Edrich. Team Anita’s all-game winner was Sue Rotter.

May 2 Friday morning league results: Team Patti outdid Team Sally 7-5. Both captains were the all-game winners for their respective teams. Team Carol trounced Team Shel 9-3. There were four all-game winners for Team Carol: Carol Johnson, Rod Leebrick, John Mount and Connie Terry. Anne Calvo was the all-game winner for Team Shel.

May 6 Tuesday evening

league results: Team Bob took Team Sue 7-3. Team Bob all-game winners were Lynne Baidack and Jesus Sosa. John Mount was Team Sue’s allgame winner. Team Harold outshone Team Sally 7-3. Team Harold’s all-game winners were Minda Burkschab and Sandy Derouin. Team Sally had no all-game winners.
