Presidents’ Council Meeting Recap
THE PRESIDENTS’ COUNCIL Clubhouse 4 and Zoom Tele-Video Conference The regular monthly meeting of the Presidents’ Council of Leisure World Seal Beach was convened at 1:35 p.m. by President Rich Carson on May 7 in Clubhouse 4 and via Zoom tele-video conference. The following is a recap:
• Presidents’ Council meeting minutes of April 2 were approved by the council as printed.
• Senior Director of Facilities Mark Weaver informed the council • about a recent meeting with the City to discuss the state senate rule regarding turf in Leisure World. Weaver also gave a brief update on water rates.
• Physical Property Manager Kevin Black provided an update on the completed roofing projects for Clubhouses 3 and 4 and added that the HVAC unit installation in Clubhouse 3 is almost completed. Black also provided an update on the final designs for the new Stock Transfer Office and informed the council of a Clubhouse 2 Workshop Room completion.
• StockTransferManagerClaudia Garcia submitted a report.
• The Presidents’ Council June meeting has been cancelled due to annual elections. The next meeting is on Wednesday, July 2, at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. It will be streamed via Zoom tele-video conference and YouTube Live.
