Gary Snow is snooker champ

The Leisure World Pool Club winter snooker league playoffs took place recently and when all the games were finally decided, Gary Snow stood alone as the season’s snooker league champion. Snow is the first-ever snooker league repeat champion, having triumphed in the inaugural snooker league championship in 2023.

In the league semifinals, Snow defeated Pettys 50-22 and Edrich stifled Gary Schnaufer 42-12. Rounding out the season’s playoff participants were John Burns and Barry Brideau. The regular season ended with four players finishing at 7-5.

Pool club players will remain busy with monthly club tournaments. The straight pool season will commence in July and league play has a September start date.
