Drivers Urged to Exercise Caution During Paving

Drivers should exercise caution on the uneven pavement along Seal Beach Boulevard from Westminster Avenue to North Gate Road, where a city paving project is currently underway. When traveling on uneven surfaces, drivers should slow down, increase their following distance and be aware of surrounding traffic.

Crews began work on the strip of road on April 21. All American Asphalt will continue paving work on weeknights from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. through Friday, May 9.

The project includes the removal and construction of new asphalt concrete pavement and related work.
