LW Baptist Church

LW Baptist Church will meet Sunday, April 30, at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 4 to celebrate the coming transformation of believers’ bodies.

The Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15, about Christ’s resurrection from the dead in a glorified body, then speaks of the coming resurrection of dead believers and the transformation of living believers, so that they enter God's presence in glorified bodies like the body of their savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul writes, “listen I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.'

Paul concludes, 'Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
