Boathouse on the Bay to offer special happy hour for LW groups

The Recreation Department is partnering with the Boathouse on the Bay Restaurant to offer a special happy hour experience exclusively for Leisure World residents and their guests. This offer, available only to clubs and groups at this time, promises an evening of relaxation, great food and camaraderie.

In order to participate, a club or group must have 38 attendees. Guests of residents are welcome. Each guest will receive one complimentary beverage and one free hors d’oeuvre, a $20 value. Up to 30 guests will enjoy a free Duffy boat ride on Alamitos Bay, limited to 10 guests at a time; first come, first served. Additional happy hour appetizers will be available for purchase at $10 each. In addition, guests may order from the restaurant’s full dinner menu. A minimum gratuity of $5 per person is required at the restaurant. Bus transportation to and from the restaurant will be provided for $22 per person.

The happy hour event can be scheduled with the group from 4-6 p.m. on select Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings.
