Sign up for the Passover Seder

CONGREGATION SHOLOM

Congregation Sholom of Leisure World is offering a Passover Seder Across America as part of National Jewish Outreach Program on Saturday, April 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 2; open to all members of the Leisure World community.

The Passover Seder will be participatory and designed to provide Jews of limited knowledge or background with an appreciation and an understanding of the customs and rituals associated with the Seder. This program, presented by Congregation Sholom, is to encourage a greater appreciation and understanding of the Passover Seder experience and to inspire Jews to become more involved in Jewish life. There will be a catered dinner by Blueberry Hill. The Seder will be led by Congregation Sholom’s Rabbi Mike Mymon.

People can choose between three dinner plates: mango chutney brisket, roast chicken, or a vegetarian plate. The entrée comes with matzo ball soup, gefilte fish, salad, potatoes, lemonade, dessert, and Passover wine. Tickets for the event are $49 per person for members, and $59 for non-members.

People must RSVP to Murray Pollock by Tuesday, April 8 by calling 562-331-3949.
