Country and rock ‘n’ roll show is Saturday, March 29
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL CLUB
The Let the Good Times Roll Club will hold a show and dance titled “Little Bit Country, Little Bit Rock & Roll” on Saturday, March 29, in Clubhouse 2 at 5:30 p.m.
The theme for the evening’s show is expressed in the songs the club’s members have chosen. Selections include chart-topping hits from rock and roll and country singers. Performances include songs by Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, The Beatles, Nancy Sinatra and Lee Greenwood, The Eagles, Loretta Lynn, Bruce Springsteen, Ray Charles, Anne Murray, the Letttermen, John Denver, Ruby and the Romantics and others.
The show starts at 6, followed by two hours of dancing to live music by The Legends of Rock.
People are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages. All residents and guests are welcome.
The club provides coffee, tea, ice, cookies and cups. The dance is free, but donations are encouraged to support the band and the club’s mission of providing evenings of live entertainment, dancing and socializing for the community.
